ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on July 28^th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

5000 ordinary shares at 335 pence per share  

5000 ordinary shares at 284 pence per share  

29034 ordinary shares at 246.5 pence per share         

2500 ordinary shares at 136 pence per share  

5000 ordinary shares at 132.5 pence per share           

52000 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

50000 ordinary shares at 118.5 pence per share         

3750 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share           

625 ordinary shares at 104.25 pence per share           

18473 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share  

7287 ordinary shares at 102.64 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 27,557,587 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,316,498,109.
